‏الحج : Hadeeth No:3151 Rafi' b. Khadij reported Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying: Ibrahim declared Mecca as sacred and I declare sacred the area between its two stony grounds (lava lands by which he meant Medina)....

‏فضائل الصحابة‏ : Hadeeth No:6100 Anas reported that Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) sought forgiveness for the Ansar and he said: I think (he also sought forgiveness) for the children of the Ansar and the slaves and the freed men of the Ansar. I have no doubt about it....
